Mr Olayanju possesses a Masters Degree in Educational Management from the University of Ilorin, Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Agricultural Education from University of Nigeria, Nsukka and Nigeria Certificate in Education in Agricultural Science (Double Major) from the former Federal Advanced Teachers’ College (present Federal College of Education), Yola.
He joined the Teaching Service of Lagos State in 1985 as Master Grd II and transferred his service to the Lagos State Civil Service in 1990. He was deployed to the Ministry of Education as Inspector of Education. He served in various capacities such Director/Head (Quality Assurance) and Director /Head (Private Education and Special Programmes) until his deployment to the Lagos State Technical and Vocational Education Board (LASTVEB) in February 2016 where he is presently serving as Director/Head (Planning, Research, nd Inspectorate).
Mr Olayanju has attended management courses at the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON), Topo, Badagry, University of Ibadan, National Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (NAIEPA), Ondo, etc. He was also privileged to have travelled to the United Kingdom and Kenya on study tour while serving in the Ministry of Education.
